WOMAN SENTENCED FOR STALKING MAN AS CAMERA FOUND
A woman responsible for placing a camera outside a man’s residence has received a court sentence.Nadia Kiernan, residing on Clay Street in Ely, appeared before Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, February 4, to be sentenced.
Initially denying the stalking charge, she subsequently changed her plea to admit the offence.
The case emerged when investigators uncovered remotely accessible cameras positioned in a hedge outside the victim’s property in Newmarket.
Following her arrest and charging, police recovered the cameras, associated equipment, and her mobile phone.
On her device, authorities found video recordings that appeared to be captured from the camera installed outside the victim’s home.
Kiernan was ordered to adhere to a 12-month restraining order alongside a 12-month community order.
She is also required to participate in rehabilitation and community programs.
The 33-year-old was further ordered to pay a total of £414 in costs and charges.
