Five individuals have been formally charged with various sexual offences linked to incidents said to have occurred during the 1990s.
Law enforcement authorities are probing reports from four victims who claim to have been assaulted in the regions of the West Midlands and Staffordshire.
The allegations involve offences allegedly committed against teenage girls.
Currently, five men face charges and are scheduled to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court on Wednesday, July 30.
One of the accused, Mohammed Shazad, 48, of Freer Road, Aston, is charged with two rapes, procuring a woman under 21 and living of the immoral earnings of prostitution.
