DEWSBURY MAN CHARGED WITH RAPE IN CHILD EXPLOITATION INVESTIGATION
Forty-two individuals have been charged in connection with a police probe into non-recent child sexual exploitation (CSE) in West Yorkshire.The group comprises 39 men and three women, primarily from Kirklees, and they are accused of various offences.
The alleged crimes were committed against six girls between 1995 and 2015, mainly at addresses in Dewsbury and Batley.
The accused are scheduled to appear at Leeds Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
Among those charged is Mohammed Luqman Daji, aged 44 from Dewsbury, who is charged with an offence of rape.
The investigation and charges are part of the ongoing efforts by West Yorkshire Police to address and tackle child sexual exploitation in the region.
