Consequently, they are set to serve no less than six years behind bars.
The incident occurred when the woman was taken to Nouri’s residence on Walton Parade at approximately 4am on June 26 last year, where the assault took place.
Initially denying the charges, both suspects changed their pleas to guilty after police presented CCTV footage and forensic evidence.
Det Sgt Chris McCreadie of Preston CID commented: “This was an extremely traumatic incident for the victim, and while it will have lasting effects on her, I hope the sentencing offers her some measure of closure.
Throughout the investigation, the victim received support from specialist officers within our rape team.
We remain dedicated to assisting victims of sexual crimes and will continue efforts to bring those responsible to justice.” Authorities are still investigating to locate a third individual connected to the case, who they are seeking to speak with.
