CHILD PREDATOR EXPOSED AFTER HIS TWISTED ONLINE PURSUIT
A calculated child predator has been released after a series of disturbing offences targeting a child under 16.MOHAMMED HASSAN MUGHAL was convicted of multiple offences, including attempting to incite a child into penetrative sexual activity, attempting to meet a child following grooming, engaging in sexual communication, and attempting to cause a child to watch sexual acts.
The court heard how Mughal's behaviour went far beyond inappropriate messaging - showing clear intent to escalate contact into physical abuse.
His actions formed part of a deliberate pattern of grooming and manipulation.
He was sentenced to 18 months in prison, will spend a further 18 months on electronic tag, and has been placed on the sex offenders register indefinitely.
