HUDDERSFIELD MAN SENTENCED
Farook, who is from Huddersfield, was sentenced to six years in prison after being convicted of two counts of sexual assault in the Kirklees area between 2002 and 2004.
His victim, who was under the age of 16 when targeted by him, came forward in 2020 to report the abuse she had suffered.
—————————————————————————————————— Forty-two individuals, including the 39 men and 3 women mainly from Kirklees, have been charged during a police investigation into non-recent child sexual exploitation (CSE) in West Yorkshire.
These accused are scheduled to appear at Leeds Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
Among those charged is Mohammed Farooq, aged 52, from Dewsbury, who faces multiple charges of rape.
The offences are said to have been committed against six girls between 1995 and 2015, primarily at addresses in Dewsbury and Batley.

The investigation is ongoing, and the accused are awaiting their court appearance.
