MAN JAILED FOR MULTIPLE RAPE OF BOY AND POSSESSING HUNDREDS OF INDECENT IMAGES OF CHILDREN
A man from Birmingham has received a prison sentence after being convicted of multiple counts of sexual assault against a boy, along with possessing a large collection of child pornography.
Mohammed Ali, aged 23 and residing on Onisbury Road in Handsworth, was taken into custody following the victim’s disclosure of ongoing abuse spanning several years.
During his arrest, authorities found 443 indecent images and videos on his phone, with 250 classified as Category A.
At Birmingham Crown Court on 27 November, Ali admitted to eight counts of rape, four of which involved a boy under the age of 13.
He also confessed to three charges of distributing indecent images of children.
The court sentenced him to 18 years in prison, comprising 12 years to be served in custody and an additional six years on license.
