2015: DUDLEY THUG JAILED AFTER ATTACKING FORMER PARTNER FOR A SECOND TIME
A Dudley thug, Michael O’Sullivan, is back behind bars for a second time for attacking his former partner and mother of their child, Stacey Broadhouse.
He went to her home in defiance of a restraining order and threw a glass bottle at her, causing a cut to her head.
The incident was reported at Wolverhampton Crown Court, where it was revealed that O’Sullivan had previously been jailed for 18 months in 2013 for another offence against Miss Broadhouse.
During the attack, he pushed her around, threw an empty bottle which struck her on the face, bit her mobile phone, and threw it against a wall.
He then fled, prompting the police to be called.
Judge Kristina Montgomery QC sentenced O’Sullivan to three years in jail after he admitted to assault causing actual bodily harm, breaching the restraining order, and criminal damage.
His lawyer described the incident as "a moment of madness," but the court noted his blatant disregard for the restraining order and control over his partner.
