A man from Dudley has been sentenced to two years in prison following a stalking conviction.
Christian Leipacher, aged 52 and living on Norwood Road in Brockmoor, appeared before Stoke Crown Court to admit to stalking a woman in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, during the months of August and September 2025.
The court found that his behaviour caused the victim significant alarm and distress.
Leipacher pleaded guilty on December 10 to a single count of stalking, involving visiting her home and workplace and engaging in conduct that interfered with her daily activities.
The court imposed a sentence of two years and four months' imprisonment for this offence.
He faced additional charges two violations of a non-molestation order, witness intimidation, harassment without violence, and cyberflashing though he denied those charges in a prior hearing.
The court decided to withdraw the harassment charge and ordered the remaining four charges to be officially recorded but not pursued further.
The outcome was a two-year prison term for Leipacher's stalking offence, with other charges being left on file.
