BIRMINGHAM PREDATOR MICHAEL O'BRIEN APPREHENDED BY PAEDOPHILE HUNTERS AFTER IDENTITY FAILURE
A dangerous Birmingham predator has been arrested by West Midlands Police following an interesting collaboration between paedophile hunting teams.38-Year-Old Birmingham predator Michael O'brien was stung at his home address in Harborne by the Child Online Safety Team after engaging in sexual communication with what he believed to be a 13-year-old child.
Remarkably, innocent male Daniel Sheehy from Gateshead in Northumbria was previously tarnished a paedophile on a Facebook Live Stream just days earlier after a identification process failed to identify the correct suspect.
On 25th December 2025, members of the paedophile hunting group COST UK apprehended the correct suspect O'Brien at his home address after a lengthy process of tracking him down and a nationwide public appeal.
COST UK, based in North East England were provided the evidence bundle by another paedophile hunting team named DOPE O'Brien was using the nickname "KindaTwisted" when he initiated conversation with a 13 year old child on the 1st December 2025.
He initially told the child he "liked younger girls and 13 is such a cute age" before conversation turned quickly turned disturbing frequently using the words "sexy".
O'Brien also sent the child photos of his face, disguisable tattoos and even an explicit picture of his genitals which was quickly deleted.
He requested indecent images of the child.
In a twisted turn of events O'Brien then sent a photo of a child and claimed to be a child he was actually a 15-year-old child pretending to be an older male.
O'Brien claimed that he had found pictures of his "dad's dick pics" before sending the photo to the child.
O'Brien admitted that he had pretended to be a child in order to avoid being caught.
He also made admissions that he had a sexual interest in children despite having children of his own.
O'Brien was arrested by West Midlands Police and remains in Police Custody.
