MAN ADMITS STALKING AND ABUSIVE BEHAVIOUR AT JEDBURGH SHERIFF COURT
A MAN who bombarded his former partner with hundreds of abusive phone calls and text messages in a single day has pleaded guilty to a stalking charge at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.Thirty-three-year-old Michael Hall admitted that the harassment occurred at his ex-partner’s residence on January 10.In addition to the stalking offence, he also pleaded guilty to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.Following his plea, Hall was sentenced to a two-year supervision order and was required to complete 120 hours of unpaid work.
Furthermore, the court issued a two-year non-harassment order that prohibits him from making any contact with his former partner.
