CHISWICK MAN FACES HISTORIC CHILD SEX ABUSE CHARGES
A man named Michael Ellis has appeared in court connected to an investigation into historical child sex abuse at a prominent independent school.He faces charges of indecent assault on a boy aged 14 in 1973 and another assault on a boy aged 16 in 1992.
Additionally, he is charged with four counts of making indecent images on or before his arrest in July 2014.
The case is part of Scotland Yard's Operation Winthorpe inquiry, which investigates allegations of sexual abuse at St Paul's School in Barnes, southwest London, a school with notable alumni including Chancellor George Osborne, and its preparatory school Colet Court.
Michael Ellis, aged 69, from Chiswick, was bailed by Westminster Magistrates' Court to appear at Southwark Crown Court on April 28.

71-year-old Michael Ellis of Bolton Road was also found guilty of four counts of possessing indecent images of children.
