GILLINGHAM MAN JAILED FOR POSSESSION OF 600+ INDECENT IMAGES OF CHILDREN

The 38-year-old of Fairey Crescent in Gillingham was jailed for two years after he was found in possession of more than 600 indecent images of children.

Hunt used a hidden iPhone to chat to underage girls and send indecent pictures.

He had previously been made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order on February 3, 2017 after being convicted of offences involving indecent images of children.

He appeared at Bournemouth Crown Court on July 26 and was sentenced for three offences of making indecent images of children and breaching the court order.

He will serve an extended licence period of five years, must sign the sex offenders register, and all images in his possession will be destroyed.
