MAN WHO SEXUALLY ASSAULTED GIRL JAILED
Martin Bordoli, aged 64 and residing in Amington, Tamworth, was handed a sentence of six years and four months in prison by Stafford Crown Court on Friday, 30 January.
This followed his admission to sexually assaulting a girl during an earlier court hearing.
The incident occurred in 2024, and Bordoli was detained on the same day the offense was reported.
During police questioning, he chose to answer 'no comment.' Authorities worked diligently to support the survivor and gather sufficient evidence to bring the case to court, where Bordoli ultimately pleaded guilty to the charge.
He is now serving his prison sentence, has been issued with an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO), and is registered on the Sex Offenders Register for life.
Detective Constable Tara Field from the child protection unit remarked: “Although Bordoli initially refused to confront the reality of his actions, we managed to compile enough evidence to ensure he could not evade justice in court.
