MAN FOUND GUILTY OF SEXUAL ASSAULT AFTER 'INCIDENT' IN ST ANN'S
A 39-year-old man has been found guilty after a woman was sexually assaulted.
Martin Blatherwick, 39, of Pendle Crescent, St Ann's, was found guilty of three counts of sexual assault.
He's received an 18-month suspended sentence, a two-year restraining order and has been ordered to sign the sex offenders’ register for seven years.
The charges relate to an incident on March 30, 2018, where a woman was sexually assaulted.
Detective Sergeant David Beach, of Nottinghamshire Police, who was involved in the investigation said: "I'd like to praise the strength and bravery of the victim who came forward and helped us with our enquiries." "Nottinghamshire Police takes reports of such matters very seriously and will investigate them fully." "There are a number of different agencies who are able to offer independent help and support to survivors of sexual abuse in Nottinghamshire and I'd encourage victims to contact them for advice and support."
