ABERGAVENNY PAEDOPHILE CAUGHT WITH VILE CHILD ABUSE VIDEOS

A PAEDOPHILE has been caught with vile child sex abuse photographs and videos.

Mark Westbrook, 59, from Abergavenny admitted making category A – the most serious kind – indecent images of children.

He had eight such images, Newport Magistrates' Court was told.

The defendant also pleaded guilty to making two category B indecent images of children and two category C indecent images of children.

Westbrook’s offending took place in Abergavenny between May 30 and June 25.

The case was adjourned to December 12 so that a pre-sentence report could be prepared.

He was granted conditional bail.

Westbrook, formerly of Gwent Road, Llantilio Pertholey, now living in Blackwood, will have to register as a sex offender with police.
