BIRMINGHAM TEACHING ASSISTANT JAILED FOR CHILD GROOMING AND SEXUAL ASSAULT
A teaching assistant named Mark Smith, aged 35, who worked at Ladypool Primary School in Sparkbrook, Birmingham, has been sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison for sexually abusing a young girl.Smith had a grooming relationship with his victim from when she was nine until she was eleven, bombarding her with love letters and text messages during this time.
