MARK JOHNS GIVEN COMMUNITY ORDER FOR STALKING

A 42 year old man who stalked a woman has been handed a community order by Truro magistrates.

He pursued a course of conduct which involved: * Viewing and printing out private facebook messages between the victim and another * Tracking her via her mobile phone * Following her on her date in June 2018 * Turning up at her workplace on July 20, 25 and 27 * Parking outside her new partner's address * Leaving roses on her car * Emailing her * Parking outside her home address on July 25 * Messaging her new partner about her; secretly recording her He was placed under a 10-week electronically monitored curfew and also had a restraining order imposed, prohibiting him from contacting the victim.

He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge.
