CAMBORNE MAN ASKED AI GIRL TO MASTURBATE IN COURT CASE
A pervert who was busted by a group of online paedo hunters asked an AI generated fake teenage girl to masturbate, a court heard.Officers from Devon and Cornwall Police were alerted to illegal internet activities Jordan Hendra had been involved in and attended his property in Cross Street, Camborne, on November 11 last year.
His computer was seized and conversations with a 14-year-old 'girl' called Ella were discovered on it.
A sentencing hearing at Truro Crown Court today (Friday, January 30) heard how over several weeks, Hendra, 28, entered into a sexualised conversation with the 'girl' who had an AI generated image as profile.
He asked her to send him images of her private parts on several occasions, as well as photographs of herself on the toilets or in the shower and she refused.
At first he told her she was not being very adventurous.
He also sent a video of his penis as encouragement for her to masturbate for him.
Ella was in fact a decoy account set up by a group of online paedophile hunters and had been operated by an adult woman who alerted Devon and Cornwall Police.
He was arrested and charged with one count of attempting to cause / incite a girl 13 to 15 to engage in sexual activity and another count of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child.
He pleaded guilty to both charges when he appeared before the magistrates' court.
His Honour Judge Simon Carr said that while the '14-year-old girl' was fake, Hendra had firmly believed she was real and engaged in sexualised conversations with her despite being told she was 14 while he is 28.
"You believed you were communicating with a 14-year-old child," he told him.
"It went on for weeks was sexualised in nature.
You sent her pictures of your penis and told her it would be your secret." Judge Carr noted Hendra's personal challenges both mental and physical and his intent that this offending never happens again as well as his previous good character.
Hendra was sentenced to three years in prison and imposed a sexual harm prevention order for 10 years.
He will also be on the sex offenders' register for life.
