NOTTINGHAM PAEDOPHILE CALLED 'SIR GIRTHALOT' JAILED FOR CHILD ABUSE
A Nottingham paedophile who used the online persona called “Sir Girthalot” struck up disgusting sexual chats with two 13-year-old girls. In them, Mark Dennis asked the teens if they would touch themselves sexually for his gratification, calling one of them “cute”.
But “Jazz” and “Tammy Lee” were really undercover police officers posing as underage girls to snare perverts like the 42-year-old.
And when police raided his Hucknall home, they found vile child abuse images, including one of a baby as young as nine months old being sexually abused by an adult.
Jailing him for three-and-a-half years, Judge Michael Auty KC said: “The degree of depravity is deeply concerning, and how anyone could possibly get sexual gratification from looking at images like that is so far beyond the perception of right-minded people.
That you called yourself ‘Sir Girthalot' truly tells something about what the purpose was for using that platform.” She said: “He suffers with his mental health and has lived an isolated life over the past 10 years.
“He is crippled by anxiety living at home with his mother who he is the carer for.” As well as the jail term, the judge placed Dennis on the sex offender register for life and handed him a 10-year sexual harm prevention order.
