MARK BRIAN WATSON – TO FACE TRIAL AFTER CHILD ONLINE SAFETY TEAM STING
Mark Brian Watson has pleaded not guilty to offences arising from a sting operation conducted by the Child Online Safety Team (COST), a UK-based paedophile hunter organisation.Watson appeared in court where he denied allegations of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child.
The case has been adjourned until 17 October 2025 for a case management hearing, ahead of a full trial scheduled for 5 October 2026.
He remains on court-imposed bail conditions while awaiting the next stage of proceedings.
