MARCUS WALKER FROM BELFAST SENTENCED FOR VIOLENT OFFENSES IN LARNE AND NORTH BELFAST
Marcus Walker, a 41-year-old man residing on Serpentine Road in North Belfast, has been handed a six-month prison sentence following a series of violent and disturbing incidents.The events unfolded on March 16 at a chip shop located on Upper Main Street in Larne, where Walker's aggressive behavior culminated in a physical assault on his partner.
Witnesses reported that Walker forcibly shoved his partner, causing her to hit her head against the counter.
Staff members at the establishment also observed him punching her outside the shop, further illustrating his violent tendencies.
Shortly after these events, police officers arrived at the scene and located Walker nearby.
He was found in a state of intoxication, urinating in public, and actively resisting arrest.
During the confrontation, Walker struck a police constable in the chest and refused to comply with arrest procedures, specifically resisting efforts to place handcuffs on him.
His behavior was described as aggressive and uncooperative, adding to the severity of his actions.
Walker’s criminal history is extensive, with the court noting that he has a total of 50 prior convictions.
