SHOCKING CHILD SEX OFFENDER MARC SANDERCOCK SENTENCED IN SLOUGH FOR HORRIFIC OFFENCES

In a disturbing case that has sent shockwaves through the community of Slough, a man identified as Marc Sandercock has been handed down a substantial prison sentence after being convicted of multiple serious sexual offences involving minors. The sentencing took place at Reading Crown Court, where the 32-year-old resident of Travic Road, Slough, faced justice for his heinous actions.

Sandercock pleaded guilty to a series of charges that included three counts of creating indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of children, one count of distributing such images, and possession of indecent images of minors. Additionally, he admitted to voyeurism and attempted to facilitate child pornography on two separate occasions. The court's decision reflects the gravity of his crimes, which spanned over four years, from July 2012 to August 2016.

Following his arrest on November 11, 2016, authorities executed a warrant at his residence, leading to the seizure of multiple electronic devices. During police interviews, Sandercock confessed to possessing numerous indecent images of children, some as young as eight years old. He also revealed that he had attended a leisure centre in 2012, where he covertly recorded women and children changing, further illustrating his disturbing pattern of behavior.

The evidence collected from Sandercock’s electronic devices was particularly alarming. Investigators uncovered a total of 535 Category A indecent images of children, which are classified as the most severe, along with 571 Category B images and 2,413 Category C images, indicating a significant collection of illicit material. The case also uncovered disturbing communications between Sandercock and individuals located in Italy, Russia, and the Philippines, where discussions about indecent images took place, suggesting a broader network of illicit activity.

As part of his sentencing, Sandercock was ordered to register as a sex offender for the next ten years and was issued a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for an additional decade. These measures aim to monitor and restrict his activities to prevent further harm.
