DEWSBURY WOMAN HELD AT KNIFEPOINT AFTER DOMESTIC ROW
A man held a knife to his partner's head and threatened to kill her when she accused him of cheating on her, a court heard.Kirklees Magistrates' Court was told that the victim feared that Maciej Milewski was going to stab her during the row.
The 27-year-old pleaded not guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Prosecutor Shamalia Qureshi stated that the incident occurred at the victim's home on Headfield Road, Dewsbury, on October 13.
She reported that there was a dispute regarding Milewski being unfaithful, during which he grabbed her by the hair.
Following this, he allegedly pressed a knife to the top part of her head and said, "I'll kill you." As a result of the assault, the victim sustained a minor cut to her head.
Milewski, of Leeds Road in Dewsbury, was ordered to be transferred to Leeds Crown Court, where he is scheduled to appear on April 16.
In the meantime, he has bail conditions preventing him from contacting the victim or visiting her address.
