EDINBURGH MAN GUILTY OF STALKING FEMALE COLLEAGUE AFTER OBSESSION
An Edinburgh Superdrug worker has been found guilty of stalking after becoming infatuated with a female colleague.Clavo, 39, used the shop’s beauty card system to obtain her phone number and engaged in a course of behaviour that caused her fear and alarm.
He visited her at work, gave her unwanted gifts, sent an unwelcome email, and made unwanted phone calls.
Clavo admitted to causing her fear and alarm by attending her workplace, and was sentenced at Edinburgh Sheriff Court to a two-year non-harassment order and a £600 fine.
He was also told not to contact the victim directly or indirectly and refrain from visiting Hotel Chocolat on Frederick Street.
