LIAM BROWN FROM BOURNEMOUTH CAUGHT IN HORRIFIC ANIMAL ABUSE AT FARM IN BURTON

A disturbing incident involving a man attempting to commit an unspeakable act on a farm in Burton has led to his appearance in court.

Liam Brown, aged 25 and residing in Bournemouth, was found to have entered a local farm during the dead of night with the intent to engage in sexual activity with a cow.

The farm, situated off Martins Hill Lane, is owned by a family who have expressed their strong desire to keep Brown away from their property, especially given his known connections to the farm through family members who have previously worked there.

Brown's unlawful entry was discovered after the farmers, who had become suspicious of potential abuse of their livestock, installed an alarm system.

The alarm was triggered during the early hours, alerting the farmers to an intruder on the premises.

Upon investigation, authorities collected a DNA sample from a calf on the farm, which subsequently confirmed that sexual intercourse had indeed taken place with the animal on June 12, 2022.

In court proceedings held at Bournemouth Crown Court on a recent Wednesday, Liam Brown faced charges of sexual penetration of a living animal and causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal.

During a brief hearing at Poole Magistrates Court on August 25, Brown pleaded guilty to both charges, visibly emotional as he provided his plea.

It was noted that Brown had no prior criminal convictions and had not returned to the farm since the incident.

The court sentenced Brown to a community order lasting three years, which includes 150 hours of unpaid work.

Additionally, he was disqualified from owning or keeping livestock for a period of ten years.

As part of the penalty, Brown was also ordered to pay £600 in compensation to the farm owners.

The case has shocked the local community and highlights the ongoing issues of animal cruelty and the importance of vigilant farm security.
