WIGAN PAEDOPHILE LEON ROBERTS CAGED AFTER BEING SNARED BY PAEDOPHILE HUNTERS
A man from Wigan, named Leon Gormley-Roberts, has been sentenced to prison following his involvement with online paedophile hunters.
Police apprehended Gormley-Roberts after he engaged in sexually explicit communications with what he believed was a minor.
His attempts to groom the individual and solicit indecent images were part of his criminal actions.
In reality, Gormley-Roberts was speaking to an adult decoy called 'Skye' as part of an online child protection operation.
Evidence collected by Sanctuary, an organisation dedicated to online child safety, along with The Underworld, was submitted to law enforcement, leading to his quick arrest.
On September 11, 2025, Gormley-Roberts appeared before Bolton Crown Court, where he received a nine-month custodial sentence.
Considering the severity of his conduct, he will be listed on the Sex Offenders Register for ten years and is also subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for the same duration.
