A CONVICTED WIGAN SEX OFFENDER ADMITS TO MAKING MORE CHILD ABUSE FILMS
Simon Finney, aged 61 and residing on Moore Street in Whelley, appeared before the borough's magistrates to admit guilt for producing child sexual abuse images.
Among these, 64 images are classified under the most severe category, category A.
Additionally, Finney admitted to generating seven images categorized as B and 17 as C.
He also acknowledged possessing extreme pornography depicting human intercourse with dogs.
The criminal activities occurred between December 2023 and March 2024.
Finney has a prior conviction for creating numerous indecent films involving children, committed between July 2021 and September 2022, as well as an earlier charge related to extreme pornography.
He is scheduled to be sentenced at Bolton Crown Court on February 25 and is currently released on unconditional bail ahead of the trial.
