He also stamped on her hair during the attack, which occurred after she arrived at his home intoxicated.
The incident happened at his residence on Lodge Road after he responded to a text from her, revealing she had used keys to access his house.
When Walker found her, she was very drunk, and he attempted to physically remove her from the house.
During the altercation, she fell to the ground at the front door, and Walker stamped on her hair and then on her face.
He used his foot to cover her mouth for about 30 seconds, an act witnessed by a passerby who called the police.
Walker was later arrested in a bar.
He was found guilty of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and was advised to engage support services.
The judge noted she was particularly vulnerable and that she sustained bruises and minor bleeding, warning Walker that he could have caused much more serious injury.
