DEPRAVED MAN JAILED AFTER BEING CAUGHT WITH CHILD ABUSE IMAGES RANGING FROM NEWBORNS TO YOUNG TEENAGERS
William Morgan, aged 36 and residing on Chapel Road in Southampton, faced court proceedings charged with violating a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO), three counts of creating indecent images of minors, and one charge related to possessing extreme pornographic material. The police executed a search at Morgan's residence on October 27, 2025, following intelligence reports.
At that time, Morgan was already serving a suspended sentence handed down by Birmingham Crown Court in June 2024 for similar offenses.
During the search, officers found a laptop, two external hard drives, an iPhone, and a Samsung phone concealed inside a lockbox that was made to look like a book.
When questioned about the hidden devices, Morgan admitted, saying: "Yes - that one is on me." He was released on bail while investigations continued.
However, when police returned to his address on January 15, 2026, Morgan confessed that they had not recovered all the devices during the first search.
Further items included an additional hard drive, an Apple Watch, Apple TV, another iPhone, a SIM card, and a Dell computer tower.
The court proceedings revealed that the devices housed multiple social media accounts on platforms such as X, Reddit, Snapchat, and Telegram, many using sexually explicit or suggestive usernames.
Forensic analysis revealed multiple indecent images of children, along with four images classified as extreme pornography.
The victims ranged from newborns to teenagers, with some videos depicting children attempting to resist and exhibiting signs of distress.
Morgan received a sentence of 33 months imprisonment for his offenses.
