SOUTHAMPTON MAN JAILED FOR VOYEURISM, TAKING IMAGES AT ROMSEY RAPIDS
A man from Southampton who confessed to sexually abusing three young girls, engaging in voyeurism at a leisure center, and owning a significant collection of indecent images of children has been sentenced to three years in prison.
Joshua Vallis, aged 23 and residing on Shirley Road in Southampton, appeared at Southampton Crown Court where he pleaded guilty to nine charges.
Between 2021 and 2024, he sexually assaulted girls under the age of 13 on three occasions, including an incident involving touching a young girl at Romsey Rapids.
Vallis also admitted to committing voyeurism at Romsey Rapids, possessing 33 indecent images classified as category B and 194 images classified as category C of children, as well as creating 119 images in category C.
He received a three-year prison term and will be subject to a 10-year sexual harm prevention order, a 10-year restraining order, and requirements to notify authorities about certain information.
