WHITEHAVEN MAN LEE ALLAN ON SEX OFFENDERS REGISTER AFTER ASKING CHILD FOR INDECENT IMAGE

In a case that has sent shockwaves through the Whitehaven community, Lee Allan, a 35-year-old man from the town, has been placed on the Sex Offenders' Register following his admission to engaging in sexually inappropriate communication with a minor.

The incident, which took place on August 8, 2019, was brought to light during a hearing at Carlisle Crown Court.

According to court proceedings, Allan was involved in an online exchange with a schoolgirl, during which he explicitly asked her to send an indecent image of herself.
