CUMBRIAN MAN ADMITS ASSAULT AND IS HANDED 12-MONTH COMMUNITY ORDER
A man has admitted carrying out an assault after appearing at West Allerdale Magistrates’ Court earlier this year.Francis Ryan Edward Bainbridge, who appeared before the bench on 4 January 2022, pleaded guilty to assault by beating.
Magistrates imposed a 12-month community order, requiring him to complete: • 20 days of rehabilitation activity • 60 hours of unpaid work He was also ordered to pay £85 in court costs, a £95 victim surcharge, and further compensation to the victim.
In addition to the community order, Bainbridge has been made subject to a 12-month restraining order, preventing further contact with the victim for the duration set by the court.
