Lanlan Guo, 35, was sentenced to 40 weeks at Birmingham Magistrates Court on Thursday after pleading guilty to breach of a slavery and trafficking risk or prevention order.
Guo had previously been subject to an investigation into modern slavery in the Southside area of Birmingham, West Midlands Police said.
Guo, of Essex Street, was stopped and searched by police on 23 March, where officers discovered a bank card in someone else's name, which she was prohibited from having due to the order.
PC Tobias Butterworth said: "Risk orders are put in place for important reasons, and Guo knew the conditions imposed on her – so she has rightly been sent to prison for breaking it."
