PERVERT SECRETLY FILMED WOMAN HAVING SEX WITH HER BOYFRIEND ON SPY CAMERAS
A man who covertly filmed his victim having sex with her boyfriend after installing hidden cameras in her home has been sentenced to prison.Kristian Kolar 'visualised' and recorded thousands of intimate moments of the woman over more than a year without her knowledge.
During the investigation, police found disturbing videos on his computer, including footage of women engaging in sexual acts with animals such as horses and dogs.
Liverpool Crown Court heard on Tuesday that the 39-year-old, from Warrington, had placed concealed cameras in the woman's living room, bedroom, and bathroom starting in February 2019.
These devices remained undetected until September the next year, during which they captured over 20,000 images and thousands of video clips.
The footage represented an egregious invasion of her privacy, with recordings of her in various private situations, including in bed, on the toilet, and naked in the shower.
Authorities also recovered from his laptop evidence of his interest in bestiality, with materials dating back to 2017, including 17 images and two videos, one depicting a dog mounted on a naked woman and another showing sexual activity between a woman and a horse.
Defending, Jeremy Rawson stated that Kolar was a hardworking individual supporting his family overseas.
He argued that despite the severity of the offences, a suspended sentence might be suitable, especially considering Kolar’s clean record.
Kolar, residing on Ross Close, Old Hall, admitted to charges of voyeurism and possession of extreme pornography.
He was sentenced to 14 months in custody.
Judge Ian Harris described the offences as calculated, long-term voyeurism involving sophisticated planning.
The judge stated that the victim’s privacy had been egregiously infringed upon for the defendant’s personal sexual gratification, likening it to a form of visual rape.
He further ordered Kolar to undergo a 10-year notification requirement, issued a restraining order to prevent contact with the victim, and ordered the destruction of seized electronic devices.
The court concluded that only immediate imprisonment was suitable given the nature and impact of the crimes.
