JEALOUS THUG KOBI DOUGAN JAILED FOR BRUTAL ATTACK AND MACHETE THREAT
Kobi Dougan has been sentenced to two years and six months in prison following a series of violent attacks on women.The court heard that in a jealous rage, Dougan punched, kicked, and threatened his girlfriend with a machete, telling her she 'wasn't going to exist any more'.
In one incident, while she was asleep, Dougan searched her phone, took it, and later used physical violence against her, striking her repeatedly and kicking her when she was on the ground.
He then produced a machete and made threatening remarks.
The victim reported that the attack left her worried about her future relationships and caused her to withdraw socially.
Additionally, Dougan assaulted another young woman while on bail, dragging her to the bed, hitting her, and causing injuries that included swelling and bruising.
The second victim expressed ongoing anxiety and sleep issues after the incident.
During sentencing, the judge emphasized the significant psychological harm caused to the victims and highlighted Dougan's volatile behavior.
He was convicted of multiple counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, assault by beating, possession of cannabis, and threatening a person with an offensive weapon.
