KING BOOTIELERO CHARGED WITH SEX OFFENCES AGAINST 4 GIRLS
A reggae musician known by the stage name King Bootielero has been formally charged with several sexual offences involving four young girls aged from 8 to 16, including one girl under the age of 13.The accusations pertain to incidents believed to have taken place between 2005 and 2017.
Byron Broderick, aged 58 and residing on Arncliffe Close in Barnet, was formally charged on April 15 with three counts of rape and two counts of sexual assault against a girl under 13.
On the same day, he appeared at Stratford Magistrates’ Court, where he was remanded into custody.
A further court hearing is scheduled at Wood Green Crown Court for May 14.
The police investigation began after a woman in her twenties came forward in June 2025 with allegations relating to incidents from the past.
