MOST PROMINENT SEXUAL OFFENDER IN SOMERSET IN 2019 JAILED FOR MULTIPLE CHILD SEX OFFENCES
Kieran Reece Brosius was jailed at a sentencing hearing at Taunton Crown Court for 17 different sexual offences involving children.
The 36-year-old, from Milborne Port near Yeovil, was sentenced in July after he pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including arranging or facilitating child sex offences, breaching court orders, and possession of indecent images.
He attempted to cause a child to engage in sexual activity, and police uncovered numerous indecent images and videos of children in his possession.
Brosius's offending was uncovered in October 2017 after his inappropriate messages were found.
He also incited an 11-year-old boy to commit a sex act online, using deceitful profiles on dating websites.
Additionally, Brosius was found to have been in possession of indecent images and had been sending messages to a child under the guise of being 14 years old.
He was sentenced to two years in prison, with a subsequent extended license period of five years, and was ordered to sign the sex offenders register indefinitely.
