BLACKBURN MAN SLAPPED AND HARASSED EX AFTER RELATIONSHIP ENDED
Kieran Kendall, aged 29, from Fielding Crescent, Blackburn, was involved in a series of abusive behaviors following the end of his 10-month relationship with the victim.
According to court reports, he became angry when she expressed her desire to end their relationship, and in an outburst, he slapped her in the face, causing reddening.
He also broke her mobile phone during the incident.
After the initial assault, Kendall refused to leave her house, chased her upstairs, and pushed her onto a bed where she landed on a pint glass, resulting in bruising.
Later, he returned to her house, banging on the door, shouting, and making repeated calls from a withheld number.
These actions constituted harassment, threats to damage property, and criminal damage under £5,000.
Kendall pleaded guilty to these offenses at Preston Crown Court.
The judge did not impose a prison sentence but instead sentenced him to a two-year community order with a mental health treatment requirement for six months.
Additionally, he is required to complete 25 rehabilitation activity days and 120 hours of unpaid work.
A two-year restraining order was also issued, prohibiting him from contacting the victim or entering an address in Blackburn.
