A 26-year-old drama teacher from Newport has been found guilty of engaging in a sexual relationship with a pupil, a case that has sent shockwaves through the local community.

Kelly Burgess, who was employed at a school in Newport, admitted to having a seven-month affair with a teenage boy, which took place between January and August of the previous year.
