KEITH ROBERTSON SENT TO PRISON FOR SEXUAL ABUSE IN SUTTON-IN-ASHFIELD
In May 2017, a disturbing case unfolded involving a pensioner from Sutton-in-Ashfield who was convicted of heinous sexual offenses against a young girl.Keith Robertson, aged 62, who previously worked as a refuse collector, appeared before Nottingham Crown Court to face sentencing after a jury found him guilty of two counts of sexual assault on a child under the age of 16.
According to court proceedings, the incidents occurred during a single day in August 2016.
The victim, who had just celebrated her 13th birthday the day prior, was subjected to molestation by Robertson, an act that left her visibly shaken and emotionally distressed.
