CELTIC FAN GUILTY OF SEXUALLY ASSAULTING TEEN IN GLASGOW AFTER TITLE CELEBRATION

First offender Mackie pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting the girl.

Sentence was deferred pending background reports until next month by Sheriff Andrew McIntyre.

Mackie was put on the sex offenders register and granted bail meantime.

The young victim was sitting on a bench after an unofficial street bash when Mackie, wearing Celtic gear, sat next to her and began cuddling, kissing, and touching her inappropriately.

Witnesses saw Mackie wink at another man while he was assaulting her.

The victim ended up in hospital before Mackie was arrested at his home after being traced via CCTV.
