JORDAN LIGHTFOOT FROM RHYL SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL OFFENSES INVOLVING TEEN BOYS AT MOLD CROWN COURT
In July 2018, Jordan Lightfoot, a 21-year-old woman from Edith Parc in Rhyl, faced serious criminal charges related to her inappropriate conduct with two underage boys.The case was heard at Mold Crown Court, where the jury found her guilty of multiple counts of sexual activity involving minors.
Lightfoot was convicted of engaging in full sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old boy on a kitchen floor, an act that took place during the summer of 2016 when she was 19 years old.
Additionally, she was found guilty of two counts of sexual activity with a 15-year-old boy, which included touching and inciting the older boy to participate in sexual acts.
Throughout the trial, Lightfoot maintained her innocence, denying all three charges.
Her defense argued that the allegations made by the boys were fabricated, suggesting that the teenagers had been making false claims.
However, after nearly four hours of deliberation, the jury unanimously returned guilty verdicts on all counts, indicating their belief in the evidence presented against her.
The court heard that the offenses occurred in Rhyl, a seaside town in North Wales, and involved conduct that was both deeply inappropriate and exploitative.
Prosecutor Simon Rogers described Lightfoot’s actions as “deeply inappropriate sexual activities with these young boys,” emphasizing the severity of the crimes.
The case came to light when the mother of the 13-year-old boy discovered messages on her son’s phone that revealed the nature of the relationship.
She recounted that her son had initially tried to dismiss the messages but later confided that he had engaged in “full blown sex” with Lightfoot on the kitchen floor, an incident that reportedly happened while others waited outside the house.
The mother found the messages after her son left his mobile phone at home to go to school, and she described her disgust upon reading them.
One message explicitly stated that she was “on my ickle own in bed,” which she found particularly disturbing.
Following her discovery, the mother contacted the police to report the incident.
The court also heard that Lightfoot has since had a baby, although this was unrelated to the charges and had caused delays in the case.
The verdict and subsequent sentencing highlight the serious nature of her offenses and the importance of protecting minors from exploitation and abuse.
