JORDAN CLAMPETT OF DUNFERMLINE PLEADS GUILTY TO DOMESTIC ASSAULT INVOLVING FORCIBLE REMOVAL FROM BED

A serious incident of domestic violence occurred in Dunfermline when a woman was forcibly removed from her bed by her partner, leading to criminal proceedings against the offender. The individual responsible, Jordan Clampett, aged 28 and residing at Beath View in Dunfermline, admitted to assaulting his former partner during a confrontation that took place on June 12, 2019, at his residence.

According to court records, Clampett's assault involved grabbing the woman by her hair and violently pulling her out of bed. This aggressive act was carried out in a domestic setting, highlighting the severity of the incident and the danger posed to the victim. Despite not being physically present at the hearing held at Dunfermline Sheriff Court, Clampett's guilty plea was formally submitted through his legal representative, indicating his acknowledgment of the charges.
