JOHN TETLEY'S HORRIFIC CRIMES IN SIDCUP AND BELVEDERE REVEALED

In August 2009, John Tetley, a 46-year-old resident of Blackfen, Sidcup, was convicted of a series of heinous sexual offenses involving two very young girls.

The court heard that Tetley, who worked as a driving school instructor, subjected two girls aged just three and five years old to prolonged and repeated sexual abuse over a span of four years.

The abuse inflicted upon these innocent children left them profoundly traumatized and scarred for life.

Following his conviction, Tetley was sentenced to a decade in prison for his despicable actions.

The severity of his crimes was underscored by the fact that he committed 20 separate offenses against the two victims, demonstrating a disturbing pattern of predatory behavior.

The court also mandated that Tetley register as a sexual offender for the rest of his life, a measure designed to protect the community from any future harm.

After serving his sentence, Tetley was released from prison in 2016, having served seven years of his sentence.

He is now residing in the Belvedere area in Kent, where he continues to live under the shadow of his past crimes.
