JOHN MCGROGAN FROM BLACKRIDGE, EDINBURGH SENTENCED TO 8.5 YEARS FOR CHILD RAPE AND ABUSE

In a case that has sent shockwaves through the community, John McGrogan, a 65-year-old man from Blackridge near Edinburgh, has been handed a substantial prison sentence of eight and a half years. The conviction stems from a series of heinous crimes involving the sexual abuse of two young girls, with the abuse dating back to the 1980s.

According to court records, McGrogan began his predatory behavior in the early 1980s, targeting victims as young as six and eleven years old.
