Two women who survived abuse have publicly shared their experiences following the imprisonment of their attacker.
John Curry, aged 43, engaged in acts of control, violence, and intimidation towards both women over an extended period.
One woman endured physical assault as well as controlling and coercive behavior.
Additionally, Curry distributed intimate images without her approval and violated a court order, including conduct that amounted to witness intimidation.
A second woman later reported a similar pattern of abuse, which involved assaults, controlling tactics, and persistent emotional abuse.
Curry, who resides on Musgrave Terrace in Gateshead, admitted to multiple offences and was sentenced to two years in prison at Newcastle Crown Court on Thursday.
A restraining order was also implemented to safeguard both victims.
