REJECTED STALKER PLAGUED PERTH WOMAN WITH TEXTS AND PHONE CALLS
Lovesick Jilly Mackay harassed her victim for almost a year, before turning up on her doorstep.
She also called her 650 times in one day, causing the victim to unplug her landline.
Mackay pleaded guilty to engaging in a course of conduct that caused her victim fear or alarm between October 14 2021 and September 17 2022.
The court heard that Mackay, from Pilton, Edinburgh, with links to Perth had a previous similar conviction resulting in a five-year non-harassment order.
She kept in touch with her victim through Facebook, made unwanted visits, and engaged in intense and excessive contact, which led to her being placed on supervision for two years and staying away from her victim for five years.
