JEFFREY LONGHURST SHOCKS COWES WITH SEXUAL ASSAULT ON 10-YEAR-OLD GIRL

In a disturbing case that has left the community of Cowes deeply unsettled, Jeffrey Longhurst, a 68-year-old resident of Broadsmith Avenue, East Cowes, was convicted of sexually assaulting a young girl aged just 10 years old. Longhurst's trial lasted five days, but he ultimately chose to admit to the charges four days into proceedings.
