GALASHIELS MAN ACCUSED OF ENGAGING IN SEXUAL ACTIVITY WITH UNDERAGE TEEN

A Galashiels man has been accused of engaging in sexual activity with an underage teenager.

Thirty-two-year-old Jed Crerar is charged with the offence involving a female under 16 years of age.

His case was continued without plea at Jedburgh Sheriff Court and he was released on a night time home curfew between 7pm and 7am.

Crerar is due to appear at Selkirk Sheriff Court on July 7.
